PLAYER INTERVIEW: Chase Davis - DB - 2022

Palmetto Prep Academy's Chase Davis recently sat down with Sydney Cassidy to catch up on the upcoming season. 

1. What made you choose Palmetto Prep Academy? 

I chose Palmetto Prep because of the exposure and the coaches that are here, former players told me a lot of good things about them and they are putting players where they want to be. 

2. What high school did you graduate from?

I graduated from Paul Bryant High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. 

3. What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2022 recruiting class?

The thing that makes me a top prospect is my work ethic, I'm always trying to get better and learn from my coaches and teammates and I love film. 

4. What is one thing that colleges and universities should know about you?

One thing colleges and universities should know about me is that you're getting a STUDENT athlete, you'll never have to worry about classwork or grades and I'm very coachable. 

5. What are you thinking of majoring in when you get to college?

In college I want to major in physical therapy or athletic training, I want to be around the game of football no matter what. 

6. What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I had ever received is control what you can control and everything else will work itself out, I live by that. 

7. Overcoming adversity is what defines character; what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest thing I had to overcome was my dad dying. When he died I couldn't really show too much weakness because I have a little sister and brother so I had to become the man of the house, and show them the right way to do things no matter what it was, helping my mom pay bills, getting jobs during the football season, just anything it didn't matter. 

8. Do you have any offers currently?

I currently have no offers. 

9. If you could sell yourself in one sentence, what would you say?

Come get me coach, you will NOT regret it, film doesn't lie.
