■ PLAYER INTERVIEW: Nebanye Moore - QB - 2022

by Palmetto Media

Palmetto Prep Academy’s Nebanye Moore recently sat down with Stewart Dolbeare to catch up on the upcoming season.

1. What made you choose Palmetto Prep Academy?

I chose Palmetto Prep Academy because it gives me a chance to become a better person, athlete, student, and the opportunity to play DI college football.

2. What high school did you graduate from?

I graduated from South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, SC with a 3.8 GPA.

3. What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2022 recruiting class?

I’m a top prospect in the 2022 class because I have a high Quarterback I.Q., arm talent, and the ability to extend plays with my legs; these skills separate me from most Q.B.s in the class of ’22. In addition, I excel at being a leader on and off the field, leading vocally, and doing everything the right way.

4. What is one thing that colleges and universities should know about you?

I’m a very hard-working student, leader and able to work well with people.

5. What are you thinking about majoring in when you get to college?

I plan on majoring in psychology or communications when I attend college.

6. What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I have ever received was from Ray Lewis. He asked, “What’s the difference between an Eagle and a Pigeon? His response was that both fly at different Altitudes. Eagles Fly higher than a Pigeon. So if you get caught flying too low, you’ll end up with the wrong crowd. Aim to fly the highest and fly with Eagles and the right crowd.”  The message to surrounding yourself with the right people to achieve your goals.

7. Overcoming adversity is what defines character; what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I had to overcome adversity when I transferred to South Pointe High School. While sharing time, I was 4-0 as a starter and still made first-team All-Region and threw for 1300 yards in 7 games. I had to be patient, mentally tough, showed character, and kept fighting through the tough times. I learned so much from experience and was able to get better in the process.

8  Do you have any offers currently?

I don't not have any offers currently

9. If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I will not be outworked and will always be committed to perfecting my craft to becoming a great QB.
