Palmetto Prep Academy's Quincy Thompson recently sat down with Sydney Cassidy to catch up on the upcoming season. 

1. What made you choose Palmetto Prep Academy?

Coach Labo and I had a great discussion regarding my future and I believe that Palmetto Prep coaching staff could help me achieve my dream to become a student athlete at a Division 1 program. 

2. What high school did you graduate from?

Atascocita High School, Humble, Texas. 

3. What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2022 recruiting class?

As a student athlete I take pride in being a team player and every down RB. 

4. What is one thing that colleges and universities should know about you?

Tireless student athlete on/off the field, the opportunity to win championships fuels me. 

5. What are you thinking about majoring in when you get to college?

Business Management & Attorney at Law. 

6. What is the best advice you have ever received?

Put God and family first. Encourage others and always get up. 

7. Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Losing my grandmother to cancer. 

8. Do you have any offers currently?

Yes, Cornell University. 

9. If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

Football is a way of life, it provides the opportunity to be a great human being that helps others, a dependable teammate and CHAMPION.
